Job Purpose:
Lead contracting strategies for Job based works, Unit Rate, Manpower, EPC, DE contracts etc. including contract drafting, contractor pre-qualification, tender preparation, tender floating, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, contract award and contract administration / Management including sub-contracts, Contract closure, Payment Settlement, Dispute resolution, Statutory compliances Arbitration & claim settlement. Maintaining Reports & MIS, Compliance to audit, team management, Stakeholder management, Compliance to SOPs, etc. Good Understanding of local laws and statutory requirement. Have good experience in working in contract management in industrial sector with multiple plants.
Core Responsibilities
1. Meetings and planning the services needs of the organization for multiple plants,
2. Stakeholder engagement in defining scope of services with the Users, Contractor pre-qualification and selection,
3. To successfully oversee contracts from drafting, pre-qualification criteria, tendering, contractor evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
4. Strong knowledge in local and international law, statutory compliance and relationship management.
5. Contract administration, timely renewal of contractors and record keeping including all documentation related to local statutory requirement.
6. Review contracts for legal, statutory and policy compliance, monitoring and enforcing contractual obligations.
Contract Performance Management
- Prepare contractor performance evaluation criteria and frequency for evaluation.
- Periodic review of contractor performance along with the internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining the database of the evaluation result for audit compliance, highlighting improvement opportunities on evaluation parameters.
- Maintaining the contractor database for various plants with spend details for last five years
Contractor Engagement
- Establish strategic partnerships with contractor meeting the organization objective
- Continuous monitoring of the contractor KPIs and taking appropriate action in case of non-compliance.
- Develop new contractors based on the plant service needs.
- Risk Management
- Identify the service related risks for different type of contracts along with the internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate & prioritize the identified risks on their likelihood, impact and controllability
- Prepare risk mitigation plan with internal stakeholder and continuous monitoring on to adhere.
- Ensure legal and statutory compliances for various contracts and subcontracts.

Experience
5-10 years of experience in Contract Management.
